When you order from ukbedsdirect.com, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms and conditions apply to all products and services offered by ukbedsdirect.com, whether through telesales or through our website. These terms and conditions have no bearing on your legal rights as a client.

1.   Overarching

1.1 Once your order confirmation is received, each order becomes contractually binding. Acceptance or rejection of any order is at the discretion of the company.

1.2 Please include your order confirmation number in any correspondence with us (this is the delivery surname name and postcode)

1.3. ukbedsdirect.com reserves the right to change or amend these terms and conditions at any time. These can include but are not limited to, payment methods, legislative changes, delivery, system capabilities, and a wide range of other topics.

1.4 Each item comes with a one-year manufacturer’s warranty (in relation to article 8)

1.5 Many things are delivered flat-packed and must be assembled. They’re built in such a way that even the most inexperienced person can put them together. We strongly advise against making any plans with any tradespeople hired to assemble the furniture until you have double-checked that the new goods have arrived and that no pieces have been damaged.

1.6 Any existing furniture should not be disposed of or disassembled until the new goods are delivered, as ukbedsdirect.com is not responsible for any failed deliveries outside its control (in relation to article 6).

1.7 All memory foam mattresses are vacuum packaged and rolled when purchased.

2.   Cancellation

2.1 Please contact ukbedsdirect.com at least 24 hours prior to delivery of the goods if you wish to cancel or change your order.

2.2 If products have not been dispatched, please allow up to 5-10 working days for the money to appear in your account from the time of cancellation.

2.3 If your order has already been shipped with one of our couriers and you wish to cancel the delivery, you will be charged for the delivery costs, which start at £29.00. This includes refusing delivery at the door unless prior arrangements have been made.

3.   Exchanges and Returns

3.1 There are no refunds.

3.1.2 Any item that has already been assembled cannot be returned unless it is defective or wrong; things must be returned in their original packaging.

3.2 Defective or incorrect item — If the item is defective or inaccurate, we will need to verify this. Please keep in mind that you are responsible for providing clear photographs before organizing a return or exchange.

3.3 If you provide adequate evidence, we will replace any incorrect or damaged items for you.

3.3.1 If you damage the item or use it incorrectly, your warranty will be voided, and we will not replace it.

3.4.1 Mattresses that have been used are not eligible for return.

3.4.2 We will not be held liable for items that are defective due to normal wear and tear, consumer damage, negligence, or damage caused by a third party.

3.4.3 We will also not be liable for any damage caused by your failure to follow assembly instructions or personal repairs or modifications.

4.   Collections

4.1 All pickups shall be made from the delivery address (unless otherwise agreed). We shall choose the collection date at our discretion, but we will do our best to accommodate you.

4.2 You must notify us through email if you will not be personally accessible for collection on the agreed-upon date, even if you have stated that another person would take your place.

4.3 We would like to remind you that you have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the products you have received (all original packaging is left with you), and if you fail to do so, we have the right to compensation.

5.   Item Description and Specification

5.1 All photographs, drawings/illustrations, sizes, and descriptions displayed on our website or on product packaging are intended to give you a rough sense of the things we offer.

5.1.1 All of our product and service descriptions are updated on a regular basis, and we provide the most appropriate descriptions for each item.

5.1.2 All of the products are made in accordance with industry standards. This includes mattresses that adhere to all UK fire safety regulations and procedures.

5.2 All things will come with the specifications that are listed in the description.

5.2.1 While ukbedsdirect.com will make every attempt to match colours and stitching to all finishes on the item, colours and stitching may vary in some cases.

5.2.2 Colors may fluctuate depending on weather conditions.

5.2.3 In comparison to 5.2.1 mattresses, the body of the mattress may differ, but the mattress dimensions stay the same.

5.2.4 Unless otherwise stated, all Divan beds come with a basic headboard, such as the one seen in Image 2 or 3, rather than the one shown in the title image unless it has been ordered specifically.

5.3 Because all of the photos on the website are digitally made, they may appear slightly different based on the media you are viewing them on and the settings.

5.4 In extremely rare circumstances, ukbedsdirect.com may supply items that differ slightly in description and specification but are otherwise identical to the item you ordered. This will only happen if your item is unavailable for shipment due to unforeseeable circumstances.

6.   Orders

6.1 Once the items are delivered, you are responsible for them.

6.2 For items 3 and 4, we will not be responsible for any storage charges incurred while we exchange or collect.

6.3 Because memory mattresses are made with polyurethane and other chemicals, they sometimes have a chemical odour when they arrive vacuum packed and rolled. Because these are organic substances, you’ll need to let them air for at least two days, and in some cases up to seven days.

7.   Manufacturer’s Warranty of One Year

7.1 You will receive a FREE one-year manufacturer’s warranty with all of our items. The warranty period begins when you sign for the delivery of the items. However, there are some exceptions.

7.2.1 – We will not be liable for any damage caused by your failure to follow assembly instructions or any repairs or modifications you have made in your personal capacity.

7.2.2 – Attempting to repair or reconstruct any pieces on your own.

7.2.3 – Damages resulting from misuse, negligence, or the actions of a third party

7.2.4 – Inability to demonstrate the amount of the damage with appropriate proof or evidence.

7.2.5 – items that have been assembled on a hard surface.

7.3 The warranty only covers manufacturing problems on the product. The warranty does not state that the item can be returned for a complete refund during the first year. Only the parts or goods in question will be replaced by ukbedsdirect.com. There will be no other options or products available. It is up to us to decide whether to send out parts or replace the entire product. When we audit your issues, we will take great care to make a competent and correct decision.

8.   Force Majeure and Liability Limitation

8.1 ukbedsdirect.com is exempt from all liability for any failure to perform, or delay in performing, any contractual duties caused by factors beyond our control.

8.2 The overall liability, including carelessness and other losses, is limited to the order’s worth.

8.2.1 This includes but is not limited to, loss of profit, consequential damages, expenses, lost income, third-party claims, and so on.

9.   GDPR and Data Protection

We adhere to the Data Protection Act of 1998 as well as the General Data Protection Regulation, and all of your personal information is kept private and secure. Your personal information will never be shared or sold to anyone else.
